After our first class of 2024 Andrew’s wife, Hattie, suggested running some Girl & Ember classes for women who wanted to learn or practice their BBQing skills with likeminded ladies. Hence, Girl & Ember was born!

The Grill Master class caters to BBQ enthusiasts ready to elevate their grilling prowess with more intricate and challenging techniques. You will delve into advanced methods such as the art of reverse searing a steak to achieve optimal flavour and tenderness, and utilising a tandoor to craft exotic dishes like smoky, fragrant curries.

Throughout the course you will learn how to create a variety of delicious dishes using these versatile cooking tools and how to get the most out of the barbecues.

  • Asado Grill: Channel your inner Argentinian gaucho with the Asado Grill. This traditional wood-fired grill allows for the perfect sear and smoky flavors, bringing out the best in your meats and grilled vegetables.

  • DeliVita Pizza Oven: Discover the joy of creating mouthwatering, wood-fired pizzas in the DeliVita Pizza Oven. Learn the techniques of dough stretching, topping placement, and achieving the perfect crispy crust.

  • Pit Barrel Cooker: A versatile, vertical charcoal smoker and grill known for its unique hanging cooking method, simplicity, and ability to evenly smoke or grill food with minimal effort.
